Membership Information

We’d love for you to join us as a member of UPA Iowa. Our spirited group meets monthly to discuss trends in usability, present case studies on work we’ve done, provide overviews of conferences we’ve attended, and constructively critique local and member web sites. To join us, please contact .

We don’t ask members for a lot – just pay your dues, show up, contribute and enjoy yourself. That’s it. Once in a while we ask for volunteers, but it’s up to you to decide if you have the time to help out.

Requirements to join

• You must be a member of the parent organization, Usability Professionals’ Association. Fees: $100 annually, plus a $25 new member processing fee. See www.upassoc.com for details on what’s included with membership.
• Pay $25 annual fee to UPA Iowa (pro-rated if you join mid-year).

Not sure you’re ready to join? You’re free to try us out a few times before deciding. New members can come twice – on us – before we ask you to pay.

Want to be non-committal? That’s okay. After your two free sessions are used, you may join us for any particular meeting that interests you at a cost of $10 per meeting. Anyone is welcome to join our Google Group to stay on top of what we’re talking about.
